The Workshop becomes an event.
Watch Parties are private group viewings of any MingleIn Workshop. Invite up to 10 friends, all watching together at a time you set, from your own lounge rooms, anywhere in the country. You earn 5% on every seat as a thank-you for organising.
Three steps from “good idea” to “we did it together”
A Watch Party takes about two minutes to set up. You don't need any extra software, any subscription, or any upfront cost beyond the Workshop you wanted to buy anyway.
Buy a Workshop you love
Pick something on MingleIn that you actually want to do, a paint-along, a sourdough class, a brewing Workshop. You're the one who's most excited about it; that's how the night gets its energy.
Schedule the party. Invite your people.
From the Workshop page, schedule a Watch Party, pick a date and time, and add up to 10 friends by email or shareable link. Your friends get an invite that shows the Workshop, the time, who else is coming, and a button to buy their seat.
Watch it together. Earn as the organiser.
On the night, everyone joins from their own home. You press play, the Workshop video starts at the same time for the whole group. You earn 5% on every seat your friends bought. Each friend gets the Workshop for 90 days of access, from their first play, same as you did.
What it actually costs. What you actually earn.
No subscription. No upfront fee. Watch Parties are free to organise, your friends just buy their seats the same way you bought yours.
Free to organise. Modest reward for hosting.
Watch Parties aren't a way to make money, they're a way to do something you love with people you love, and have the platform thank you for the effort.

The kinds of evenings worth turning into events.
A Watch Party is most magical when the Workshop is the excuse and the people are the point. Some scenarios that work especially well:
A birthday in another city
Can't be there? Throw a paint-and-sip with their ten closest friends from your couch. You set it up, they all show up.
A team-building afternoon
Your team in three cities, all making the same thing at the same time. The team lead organises and earns the rewards.
Book club, but for craft
Turn your existing group chat into a maker session. New Workshop every month. The club gets a calendar event instead of an "anyone free?".
A grandparent and the grandkids
Different cities, same kitchen. Bake something together. Talk through the screen between steps. Send photos after.
A hen's afternoon
Cocktail-making Workshop. Twelve friends in pyjamas in different time zones. Easier to organise than a venue. Works just as well.
Friday night, just because
Instead of streaming a film you'll forget by Sunday, make a thing together, end up with a thing you made.
Step-by-step: what happens on the night.
First time organising a Watch Party? Here's exactly what it'll look like, for you and for the friends you've invited.
Friends get their reminder
Two days before the party and again on the morning of, every invited friend gets a reminder.
Everyone joins ten minutes early
You and your friends each open the party room from your own laptops or tablets.
You press play
You're the organiser, so you control playback. When everyone's settled, you press play.
Pause whenever you need to
If someone needs a minute to catch up, find a missing ingredient or change a brush, you pause.
You all make the thing
Whatever the Workshop teaches, you each make in your own space, following along together.
Boast what you made
After the party, you all post a Boast, a photo of what you made, to MingleIn.
Watch Parties, plainly answered.
Find a Workshop. Throw a Watch Party.
Browse what's on MingleIn, pick something you've always wanted to try, and turn the Workshop into an evening worth showing up for.
